A deeply disturbing case has emerged out of Muskogee, Oklahoma, where a man and woman have been arrested following the discovery that their 11-year-old daughter gave birth to a full-term baby. Dustin Walker, 34, was charged with child sexual abuse, while his wife, Cherie Walker, 33, faces charges for enabling the abuse.
The young girl reportedly delivered the baby at home on August 16, prompting a cascade of legal action and a criminal investigation that revealed shocking abuse and neglect.
The charges escalated after DNA testing confirmed a 99.9% match between Dustin Walker and the newborn child, verifying him as the biological father. Prosecutors now allege that Walker repeatedly sexually abused the child between January 1 and August 16, 2025, resulting in her pregnancy and subsequent birth.
Cherie Walker, the girl’s biological mother, was charged with enabling child sexual abuse. Authorities believe she was aware of the abuse and failed to protect her daughter, as the child had not received medical care in over a year, despite visible signs of pregnancy.
In addition to the sexual abuse and enabling charges, the couple is facing six counts of felony child neglect:
One count pertains to the failure to provide medical care or supervision during the girl’s pregnancy and home birth.
Five counts relate to neglect involving their other children, ages 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9, who were also living in the home.
Authorities described the living conditions as “deplorable,” and the children have since been removed from the residence by child protective services.
Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson issued a powerful statement:
“This is one of the most—if not the most—serious child sexual abuse and neglect cases I have ever prosecuted.”
The DA’s office has made clear that they intend to pursue the harshest possible penalties for both defendants, given the nature and extent of the abuse.
This heartbreaking case is a tragic reminder of the abuse that can occur even within families and behind closed doors. Children often suffer in silence, especially when abusers are people they trust or rely on. Survivors of child sexual abuse deserve to have their voices heard—and those responsible must be held accountable.
